You have a groundbreaking thought leadership vision. How can you get industry influencers to listen?
The terms Thought leadership and influencers are recent phenomenons which has elevated a certain group of people who somehow became the voice of their space. In my experience, many of these people are not actively practicing their trade but speaking ideas versus actual practice. The way we get influencers to listen is to get the community of professionals involved in sharing their ideas, their best practices and more than anything allow them to give their voice! I speak at conferences/ webinars, most of my presentations end with, encouraging others to share their experiences because many of us have great ideas, but are intimidated or not had the opportunity to share. If you have something to share, please use your voice!

You want to improve your content creation in Thought Leadership. How can software help you achieve that?
Too many plan content strictly to see how many views, likes, comments they get. Obviously, these are ways to measure who is viewing your content. When I plan, to do the following things. - Outline my thoughts & Brainstorm - Remind myself to be authentic - Identify purpose (entertain, inform, take action) - Find "facts" to support my thoughts Realize, my final product may be 100% different from initial intention. Sometimes predicting what the final product will look like restricts thought and flow of content. I do not use ChatGPT, unless it is to find facts. I want my writing to sound like me and the style I use when I write.

What are the most effective ways to use video for recruitment in HR?
If we have learned anything over the past few years. Authenticity is so critical. Early on, you would see over produced and scripted videos, that felt "fake" and insincere. Recruitment videos should have/ do the following things: 1. Elevate Company Brand Awareness at a personal level. 2. Tell a story connecting prospective candidates to why they should take a look at our company. 3. The person telling the story needs to be sincere, real, enthusiastic, imperfect, which will creates authenticity. Which makes it easier for potential candidates to want to learn more. 4. These videos should be short, 30-45 seconds because the goal is to hook the person to want to have a real life conversation with "you" the recruiter.

How can you use talent scouting to increase diversity?
Talent Scouting is finding talent beyond just the people in your network, it is searching for the unknown, finding those "stars", "talented people" who you do not know now, but through research, networking and using various resources to find and engage talent. What is important is to not use "one" platform for talent scouting. If you are, you are limiting yourself to a specific talent pool, hence limited diversity. Using various platforms and being aware of the different techniques is critical to your scouting. Being aware of your own biases is critical because if you are scouting in the same places every day, you are limiting your diversity.
