Today marks Recharge’s 10th anniversary. There’s a lot to celebrate with this moment, and 2024 was a banner year, surpassing $100 million in ARR, powering 20,000 merchants and topping 100 million subscribers served by our platform. But I also want to be real for a second. The last ten years haven’t been easy but two things have kept me focused and made the highs even better, and pushed me to persevere during the lows. 1. “From humble beginnings come great things.” This quote has been with us since the earliest days of Recharge and it’s with us today. We never lose sight of the fact that we are always at the beginning of something great, and bigger than we know. 2. Focusing on helping the lives of merchants. Our mission of making the lives of everyone that we serve at Recharge better is why I get up in the morning ready to solve new problems. There’s no doubt that our merchant-first mission has enabled us to scale and hit those exciting milestones. We started Recharge because we saw an opportunity and a need in the ecommerce space. Looking back, I don’t think we could have predicted how much growth, change, and excitement would come over the course of a decade. I’m grateful to everyone who’s been part of the Recharge journey. We could not have made it to year 10 without the hard work of our team, the trust of the brands we work with, and the collaboration from our ecosystem partners. Reflecting on the past 10 years is what energizes me to plan for the next 10. So, here’s to tomorrow.

ROI is making it RAIN!!! (aka incremental revenue) No Seattle jokes please;) We are working with large scale publishers in News, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Travel, and Autos verticals. High volume, high frequency. STOP READIG NOW if you are not interested or incentivized by incremental revenue. Now that we have dropped nonrevenue incented/operation types, let's talk about increasing revenue. If you are selling 100% of your supply you are in a rare, probably non-optimized group. Most publisher do not and should not fill more than 75% of supply directly. Using the bottom 25% to leverage floors higher, increasing bids/ecpm. ROI allows publishers the opportunity to efficiently monetize 100% of their supply. Accomplishing this by selling unfilled outside of the direct adstack in a secondary auction or post-bid strategy. We will deliver real time market data on supply value, allowing publishers to understand supply value and flooring. Selling and optimizing your unsold is a simple and import part of a balanced programmatic strategy. Last night we reported another quarter that demonstrated again that @Grab can drive both growth and profits through our product and tech-focused strategy. * Record-Breaking user numbers: Surpassing 40 million Monthly Transacting Users, a step change increase over the previous quarter * Transaction Growth: A remarkable 22% YoY increase in On-Demand transactions, pay-off from our strategy to scale our affordable solutions while rolling out new high-value offerings and digibanks * Sustained Profitable Growth: Our 10th consecutive quarter of EBITDA improvement and we now expect to deliver positive Adjusted Free Cash Flow for the full year As the Southeast Asian currencies weakened against the US Dollar year on year, our results were masked to some extent by foreign currency headwinds. But as I told our Grabbers this morning - our strategy is working as we intend it to. We’re starting to see the traction coming into play, and we’re delivering exactly what we’ve been saying we will for the past few quarters. We’re positive on the outlook for the rest of year - expecting sequential growth and further EBITDA improvements. Packed house for #ATSL24 and a great discussion between Jeff Green, CEO of The Trade Desk and our own Ciarán O'Kane of FPC and ExchangeWire. The discussion touched on the lack of VC participation in AdTech (despite being a $1 Trillion addressable market). “Generalist VCs avoided AdTech because it’s complex. They often don’t understand why they’d win or lose”. This summed up exactly why FirstPartyCapital exists. A $1T+ complex sector needs specialists to fund innovation, provide deeper DD, illuminating context, access to networks and relevant portfolio support. I recently sat down with CFO Dive to discuss some eye-opening research we did with IDC. The results paint a clear picture of the AI revolution happening in finance right now. Here's what's keeping CFOs up at night: a) A staggering 83% of execs believe their business won't survive without digitizing their order-to-cash processes. It's not just important—it's existential. b) CFOs are leading the charge. They're 26% more likely than other execs to strongly agree that O2C innovation is critical. c) 44% of CFOs are betting on GenAI to make their jobs easier. Your problem: If you're not automating the leasing process, the emerging generations are going to teach you a very hard lesson, and it will occur very rapidly, as you scramble to stay in business. These prospects want access to the maximum amount of listings; they want to schedule showings rapidly, and they want this available 24/7/365. They want professional, user-friendly interfaces, with minimal friction, and results. And, self showings are growing as a percentage of overall showings, and self showings get 30% more leads. Are you even aware of this option? If you think a chat bot is automating the leasing process, you're in for a big surprise.

This week DevHub executive team gets together to close out the 2nd quarter and align on 3rd goals, priorities. Since late 2022 when the decision was made to work with #franchise brands directly it’s been freeing, hard - all the feels. We went from a company that ‘took orders,’ from partners to a company that truly provides real results, knowledge from the 17+ years, hundreds of brands and millions of websites migrated. Chances are before 2022 you did not know that DevHub was behind many of the leading #martech players from listings providers to paid ads vendors to review management platforms. We saw the commodization of tools and watered down services of many who offered ‘websites, local pages, store finder, franchisee sites, landing pages,’ to capture more of a brands business for the sake of revenue and many more that tried to shove every brand into the same box 📦. What #NOT to do when your company starts scaling fast! Over the past few months, Cleaneo has hit numbers we once thought were out of reach. It’s a credit to the national TV feature, the incredible people we’ve added to our advisory board, our team’s hard work, and the magic of compounding—all things that started falling into place post-summer break. With the orders came some big lessons—mistakes in operations, delayed pickups and deliveries, and sometimes a lack of timely responses to a flood of customer queries. Systems slipped, and while we experimented with some promising services—like 4-hour express laundry, home cleaning, and 18-hour active road service from 8 am to 2 am—we learned some hard truths. Reflecting on Cleaneo’s recent growth journey, I’ve learned some valuable lessons on what not to do when scaling a business. It’s one thing to be driven and ambitious, but another to avoid costly mistakes that can easily derail your progress. 1 - Don’t Try to Do Everything Yourself: You might be great at some things, but not everything. As your workload grows, so does the need for a team. Delegate responsibilities; even if you can handle something, that doesn’t mean you should. Find team members who share your vision and values and who are committed to the growth journey. Effective delegation keeps you from burnout and allows you to scale more effectively. 2 - Be Cautious with Multiple Agencies: When starting out, it’s tempting to hire separate agencies for various roles like marketing, accounting, and tech. But as you grow, each outsourced team can create its own set of bottlenecks. If going in-house isn’t an option due to budget, keep close oversight on agency tasks, follow up frequently, and make sure all agreements are documented. 3 - Avoid Excessive Experimentation Too Soon: It’s tempting to diversify your offerings or expand too fast. However, focus on building a robust foundation first. Ensure your supply chain and logistics can handle at least twice your current demand. Once these basics are solid, consider expanding services or regions. 4 - Establish Clear Processes Early On: Scaling too quickly without established systems is a recipe for operational mistakes. Have clear protocols for handling customer queries, logistics, and quality control before increasing volume. This minimizes the risk of delayed deliveries or unmet expectations, preserving customer trust. 5 - Prioritize Personal Health and Well-being: When scaling, personal health can easily take a back seat. But your drive and energy are limited resources. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, a balanced diet, and regular exercise are essential for sustaining long-term focus and productivity. Every “no” I’ve learned is as important as every “yes.” Scaling isn’t just about doing more; it’s about knowing what to avoid to make sure the growth is sustainable.
