Sandy Relief By the Box

Disaster and Humanitarian Relief
I grew up in New York on Long Island, much of which was severely impacted by " Superstorm Sandy". From November, 2012 - January, 2013 -- I drove two truckloads of supplies and cash donations to help those impacted by this devastating storm.
What follows are some of the items collected and delivered to the Five Towns Community Center and the the JCC of the Greater Five Towns:
• Over 150 woman’s coats
• 15 large bags and/or boxes of men’s clothing
• 75 items of women’s…I grew up in New York on Long Island, much of which was severely impacted by " Superstorm Sandy". From November, 2012 - January, 2013 -- I drove two truckloads of supplies and cash donations to help those impacted by this devastating storm.
What follows are some of the items collected and delivered to the Five Towns Community Center and the the JCC of the Greater Five Towns:
• Over 150 woman’s coats
• 15 large bags and/or boxes of men’s clothing
• 75 items of women’s clothing
• Boxes – children’s clothing (over 25 items)
• Boxes of diapers
• Boxes of food
• Boxes of flashlights
• Boxes of cleaning supplies
• Checks – donations to Five Towns Community Center
