Activities and Societies: I am happy to share that I am accepted to a year-long program with UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior that provides training, support, and supervision to those wishing to share mindfulness with individuals, groups, communities, or institutions.

Mindfulness is an amazing journey that I experienced to heal from a health challenge. It is simple and effective BUT not easy.

Ever noticed that trying to calm down often produces more agitation? That trying to change bad habits can seem impossible? Or that real fulfillment can be elusive, despite living a successful life?

Such difficulties can be rooted in the brain's hardwired tendency to seek pleasure and avoid pain. Mindfulness is the practice of allowing ourselves to reflect…

Ever noticed that trying to calm down often produces more agitation? That trying to change bad habits can seem impossible? Or that real fulfillment can be elusive, despite living a successful life?

Such difficulties can be rooted in the brain's hardwired tendency to seek pleasure and avoid pain. Mindfulness is the practice of allowing ourselves to reflect and be with what is to experience it. This practice changes both the function and the structure of the brain. The neurobiological changes benefit us in learning to live a more fulfilled life, feel whole, become a better leader, avoid burn out when in high pressure jobs, heal, etc.

I am excited to bring this amazing practice to more people in this world...

Activities and Societies: Very often what blocks a person from succeeding is a particular belief about the world that he/she takes as fact or unchangeable. Integral’s approach to Executive Coaching and Leadership Development allows a coach to create understanding and distinctions with the client; it allows the client to clearly look at their perceptions of the world as separate from observable facts. Once the block is identified, clarity comes and that is when possibilities open up like magic.
