Ralph Lauren Corp., one of fashion’s most consistent performers, topped fourth-quarter earnings estimates as it continued to focus on its core products and push up its average unit prices. In the fourth quarter, Ralph Lauren’s net income jumped 180 percent to $90.7 million, or $1.38 a diluted share, from $32.3 million, or 48 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings of $1.71 a share came in 5 cents ahead of the $1.66 analysts had penciled in, according to Yahoo Finance.

Shares for Deckers Brands were up over 8 percent in after-hours trading on Thursday as the company continues to see robust sales from HOKA and UGG. The Goleta, Calif.-based footwear company reported net sales in the first quarter of 2025 increased 21.1 percent to $825.3 million compared to $675.8 million the same time last year. Net income in the period was $115.6 million, up from $63.6 million in the same quarter last year.

Companies that embrace community responsibility help fill that gap by empowering underrepresented voices and supporting diverse initiatives. Tracee Ellis Ross launched Pattern Beauty in 2019 to offer a product line to nourish all kinds of textured hair, from curly to coily to tight-textured. The PATTERN Beauty community is setting the standard for how brands can make a real-world impact, and this should be a core strategy for every D2C business.
