I was hired by Team San Jose to Creative Direct and evaluate current team…Team San Jose is an innovative partnership unifying the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau, hotels, arts, labor and venues to delivering a visitor experience as booking agency to the cultural facilities such as: San Jose Convention Center and Arts and Entertainment venues including the California Theatre, the Center for the Performing Arts, Montgomery Theater, Parkside Hall, City National Civic and South Hall.
I was hired by Team San Jose to Creative Direct and evaluate current team and establish a pathway for future growth that included a new brand image and website that would generate traffic and bookings to downtown San Jose. I hired and manages teams in advertising campaigns, marketing strategies, event launches and directing the web site launch. The team consisted of two new hires, graphic designer and web designer that could handle the house marketing of the several facilities and there many events pip lining in to downtown. I also assisted in the coordination and selection of key vendor who would assist in the back end and front end of the new site. The site would facilitate a b2b and a b2c audience and have the ability to coordinate event planning and book the various event needs in a comprehensive custom package for the booking agent. Another key engine was hotel and transportation booking engine and event calendar with the ability to purchase tickets to cultural events in any of the facilities managed by Team San Jose. The site launched 2011 and continues to generate a wonderful user experience and seamless integration between b2b and b2c users.
