In a recent DroneLife article, the call for unity in our industry couldn't have been more timely—or necessary. As drone pilots, innovators, and industry leaders, we find ourselves at a crossroads where collaboration, not division, will determine our future. It’s time to lay down our swords and come together to tackle the macro challenges we all face. The gaslighting and dismissing of others' perspectives has to end. We don’t need to agree on every point, but we must respect each other and move forward with shared goals. To borrow from President Eisenhower: “Plans are nothing; planning is everything.” In this industry, collective planning and problem-solving are what will define our success—not isolated endeavors. At the end of the day, a rising tide lifts all boats. If we can harness the collective expertise, innovation, and determination within this community, the potential for growth is limitless. Looking for a compact powerful 2D forward-looking multibeam sonar? The Gemini 1200ik multibeam imaging sonar is a powerful addition to the popular Gemini range. The multibeam imaging sonar offers two operational frequencies with the ability to switch between low and high frequency dependant on the user’s requirement. The 720kHz low frequency setting is designed for target identification and obstacle avoidance at long range, whilst the 1200kHz high frequency setting offers extremely detailed multibeam images, ideal for inspection at close range. Switching frequencies can be set to automatically switch over at a specific range or done manually. Unique to the Gemini 1200ik is the ability to maintain a 120° field of view across both frequencies: something not previously seen in any of the Gemini Multibeam imaging sonars and ensuring the target remains in view when operating at high frequency and at short range. $1B/day loss if GNSS is jammed or spoofed...not so quick. It's going to cost a lot more. #FedEx, #UPS, and #DHL all use GNSS to route their delivery trucks and yield a staggering $258B in revenue annually, or $700M a day just for delivering goods globally.  That doesn’t include the 3.5 million packages a day Amazon delivers in the US alone.  So, just the lost/reduced revenue from disrupting the package delivery itself is probably $1B, let alone the vale/disruption of the good being delivered which is probably 10x-100x the logistics value.
