A Fruitful Partnership in Metro-Detroit- American Public Health Association

This was a presentation at the 2015 American Public Health Association Conference. I shared findings and challenges of a partnership with the FDA-Food & Drug Administration-Detroit District Office and the Michigan State University Extension. This partnership took place in Metro-Detroit from 2013-2017. Diverse communities were taught the importance of healthy eating habits, behaviors and family health history.
