    The Healthcare and Healing Environments concentration provides students with the opportunity to examine factors impacting the design, planning and evaluation of healthcare facilities and healing environments using design research tools. Students in this concentration are mentored by local healthcare design practitioners as they team with nursing students, work for actual clients and correspond with forward-thinking healthcare research centers.
