I am the only one to see a huge disconnect here when looking at the recruitment lanscape ? On one hand, companies complain about a candidate driven market, being ghosted by candidates, positions remaining open for months and the list just gets longer. On the other hand, the same companies still rely mainly on two ATS and recruitment agencies, the whole thing working as a self fulling prophecy. Sounds like a catch 22 situation, right ? The truth is that no ATS or any other system will fix a broken process for you, there are no shortcuts here The first step to convert this vicious cycle is to look into three metrics: Time to hire - how much time does it take you to hire a new candidate, from start to finish Cost per hire - what's the total cost associated to each hire Candidate's retention rate - How many of these recently hired candidates are still with you 12 months after hiring.
