Building rapport is simple in nature but people complicate it by taking it to a level that ends up complicating the relationship or making it awkward Keep it simple! You can build rapport with anyone as long as you have one thing --> TRUST! If you can create trust with a complete stranger then you can engage anyone. You don't need to become best friends or go to lunches & dinners or send gifts. etc.. On June 13th the former President and COO of Chick-Fil-A, Jimmy Collins will be coming to Atlanta Tech Village to talk about how he went from being a grocery delivery boy to becoming the President and Chief Operating Officer of Chick-Fil-A. Jimmy grew up with Truett Cathy the founder of Chick-Fil-A long before the restaurant chain was discovered. Jimmy was the number three corporate employee at Chick-Fil-A and under his leadership he grew the restaurant chain from $200k to over a Billion dollars in revenue.
Jimmy has an incredible story, he has worked his entire life since the age of 12. He grew up poor in a family of share croppers. Starting out with humble beginnings Jimmy never thought in a million years that his work ethic and daily grind would open doors for him and take him from a delivery boy to becoming a top executive for one of the most amazing brands in the world!
I will be discussing Jimmy’s journey and diving into what it takes to be a great leader. Today Jimmy is helping young people find their career paths. He will be discussing the principles that helped him build his career and how those same principles can help you find your career path today. Set Record For Closing The biggest Hiring Fee

Closed the biggest hiring fee of $78,000 for hiring a Marcellus Shale Engineer for my client.
At the time the role had been open for almost 1.5 years. It was also a running joke where all new hires would be assigned this particular job to work on anytime someone new was hired on the team. Since it was such as difficult position to fill and the pool of candidates who had this specific skills and background was almost non-existent, literally only a handful of people existed at the time who…Closed the biggest hiring fee of $78,000 for hiring a Marcellus Shale Engineer for my client.

All new hires were given this role to work on since everyone else on the team knew it was almost impossible to fill.
Long story short, I took it and ran with it. It took me almost 6 months to find someone and eventually hire that individual which resulted in the largest hiring fee at the time that the company ever seen for filling a permanent position.
The President of Randstad Engineering personally congratulated me and thanked me for my efforts. On the flip side, the client was beyond happy! Allowed them to expand their businesses and opened up more opportunities for me to work with them going forward.
