Keep your focus on your calling, not your circumstances. It's easy to look at other writers and assume that their author journey was an easy path or that they have connections in the publishing industry. It's also easy to come up with excuses for why we can't do things such as videos or public speaking or marketing in general. 💥 But assumptions and excuses are NOT the hallmarks of a successful author; instead, they're hallmarks of envy and fear. Repeatedly, the Bible tells us to fear not. In Mark 4:40, Jesus asks, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" And again, in Mark 5:36., Jesus commands us, "Do not be afraid, only believe." If God has given you a story or message to share, I encourage you to stop looking at your current circumstances and start focusing on your calling. ✍ Write, publish, and market your book humbly, wisely, and confidently, knowing that you're doing what God has called you to do.

Master APA 7th Referencing & Formatting! Title Page: Include title, author's name, affiliation, course name, instructor, and due date, all centered and double-spaced. Headings: Use a maximum of five levels, each with distinct formatting (bold, italics, alignment). Font: Times New Roman 12pt, Arial 11pt, or Calibri 11pt are acceptable. Double-space all text. Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides. Running Head: No running head for student papers; professional papers include a shortened title and page number. In-Text Citations: Use the author-date format (e.g., Smith, 2023). For direct quotes, include the page number (e.g., Smith, 2023, p. 15). Reference List:   - Format: Hanging indent, double-spaced.  - Order: Alphabetical by the first author's last name.  - Entries: Include author(s), year, title (italicized for books/journals), and source.  - DOIs/URLs: Use "https://doi.org/" for DOIs; "Retrieved from" for URLs is no longer required unless the source changes over time. Tables & Figures:  - Numbering: Sequentially labeled (Table 1, Figure 1).  - Titles: Above tables, below figures, and concise.  - Notes: Underneath, explaining content if necessary. Quotations:  - Short: Enclose in double quotation marks; integrate into text.  - Block: For quotes 40+ words, start on a new line, indented 0.5 inches, no quotation marks. - Bias-Free Language: Ensure inclusivity and sensitivity in terms of age, gender, race, etc. Appendices: Label as "Appendix A," "Appendix B," etc., and refer to them in the text.
