    We had an idea to attach a GoPro to the top of a power lineman's helmet at the 2014 International Lineman's Rodeo. We were able to get a lineman to use the camera to cover part of the competition. This was the first time the division I work for used a GoPro at an event.

We engaged our own team and the highly-skilled team from NuVoodoo and the expert design services of a certain Julia Ensign. The resulting research, collaboration, planning and design ended up being magic. Our lead generation has increased and our brand has a whole new public profile.

    They had previously focused their event strategy on the New York area. This new event was a "trial balloon" for the Southern California region, home to much of the innovation in the industry.

    Worked with team to build the curriculum based on extensive industry research. Worked with key stakeholders to secure compelling speakers, led the creation of marketing materials, updated event website and tracked financial performance. Worked with Sales to secure sponsors.

    Results: attendance budget for this new event doubled projections. It was standing-room-only. Sales & sponsorship budget was 35% above budgeted projections.

    We laid the foundation for a series of these events in Southern California.

    Worked with partners at LinkedIn & Lynda.com to launch industry-leading Digital Marketing Certification program. Incorporated input from industry task force and special research project to construct robust offering that allows marketers to validate and socialize their skills and for employers to mitigate hiring risk. It was the first of a series of new certification tracks for the AMA.
