Joining hands for a greater cause 💚 Our colleagues in Hungary recently joined the Blue Bucket Collection Action, a heartwarming initiative organized by the DORKÁSZ Service. This program is dedicated to collecting durable food to support elderly individuals, families with limited resources, and those dealing with long-term illnesses. Through their efforts in filling 12-litre Blue Buckets with non-perishable food, our Hungarian team contributed to supporting communities and alleviating everyday challenges. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this initiative!

A groundbreaking study led by Michal Andelman-Gur and Noam Sobel from the Weizmann Institute of Science has demonstrated that nasal airflow patterns can distinguish Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients from healthy individuals with 87% accuracy. 🔬 The research revealed that PD patients exhibit longer and less variable inhalations compared to control patients, with these altered breathing patterns also correlating with disease severity. By leveraging a wearable device for real-world 24-hour monitoring, the study paves the way for non-invasive diagnostic and prognostic tools, enabling earlier detection and better management of Parkinson's disease. Our highly sensitive SDP3x differential pressure sensor was employed to measure nasal airflow. Integrated into the wearable device, it was used to convert pressure variations into detailed airflow data, capturing the temporal respiratory dynamics essential for identifying PD-specific patterns. Its miniaturized design, unmatched accuracy, and real-time data capabilities made it an important part of this innovative approach. 👉 Ready to bring the power of the SDP3x to your next project?
