  • Working in Michael Graetzel's group, I researched the novel, "wonder" photovoltaic material, perovskite, which can already match efficiencies of silicon solar cells at a fraction of a production price. I led the group's reserach on improving the stability of perovskite solar cells - the remaining obstacle for commercialization of the technology.

Working in Michael Graetzel's group, I researched the novel, "wonder" photovoltaic material, perovskite, which can already match efficiencies of silicon solar cells at a fraction of a production price. I led the group's reserach on improving the stability of perovskite solar cells - the remaining obstacle for commercialization of the technology.

I designed and built a state-of-the-art tool for testing stability of perovskite materials. Using this tool has enabled me and my team to author numerous high-impact publications (including one in Science and two in Nature Energy) giving a critical insight into how to improve the lifetimes of perovskite solar cells and pave the way for commercial applications.

Besides, I was involved in supervision of master students and I was the manager of one of the laboratories.
