About us

Undergraduate Education (UE) is an academic administrative unit that provides leadership and coordination for University-wide programs and initiatives in support of undergraduate teaching and learning at Penn State. UE works closely with faculty and academic units to create stimulating learning environments inside the classroom while providing avenues for learning outside the classroom and provides leadership and advocacy as Penn State becomes a more student-centered university. The fourteen units that comprise UE are diverse and wide-ranging: Center for Penn State Student Entrepreneurship Division of Undergraduate Studies Morgan Academic Center Office for General Education Office for Summer Session Office of the Vice Provost and Dean Penn State Learning Prior Learning Assessment Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center Student Engagement Network Student Orientation and Transition Programs Student Success Center From the offices that help students begin their Penn State education strong, to those that shape and enhance their experience along the way, UE is committed to working together in innovative, creative ways to provide a worldclass experience for Penn State students.
