We have been playing cricket, hosting legends, engaging audiences, building branding and providing entertainment across the globe for the last 30 years. In the last six months alone we’ve hosted Matt Le Tissier, Harry Redknapp, Frank Bruno, Phil Tufnell, Paul Merson and many more sporting personalities, everywhere from local cricket clubs to five-star resorts. It’s our genuine passion for sports, events and the outdoors that drives us to succeed. The name Lashings has been synonymous with top-class cricket for over 20 years, but we are very much more than just a cricket club. We also have a highly professional event management division, a football team and exclusive Sporting Club offering VIP corporate sports entertainment dining experiences with sporting legends We can organise anything from a gala fundraising dinner, an informal “An Evening With” a sports star, a golf day or even a race night. In the current era, as a company we have a vastly experienced and highly skilled team, delivering a range of event products on a prolific basis: Lashings roots are steeped firmly in cricket. Formed in 1984, the club has fielded a host of cricketing legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Sir Viv Richards, Courtenay Walsh, Henry Olonga, Ritchie Richardson and many more. Lashings World XI will again in 2019, tour the UK and Overseas with our squad of ex-international legends. All our matches are preceded on the day by a corporate marquee lunch, providing sponsors the ideal platform for showcasing your brand to an audience of thousands, both in the lead up to the event and live on the day. Away from cricket, we work prolifically in the corporate hospitality space. Our lunches and dinners are designed for our corporate audience, who would relish the opportunity to dine with a sports legend in an intimate and luxurious hotel or restaurant setting with an opportunity to enjoy the company of some of sports best loved stars

    With all the terrible weather recently, it’s a good time to look back on sunnier days 🌞 This summer, Kirkby Diamond had the honour of sponsoring the Lashings World XI cricket event at Eversholt CC 🏏 Alexander Jenden MRICS, one of our surveyors and resident cricket fanatic, was on hand to interview some legends of the game who turned out, and we'll be sharing a few of his highlights over the next few weeks. It’s only right that we open with the highest-scoring opening batsman in test cricket, Sir Alastair Cook. Nicknamed ‘Chef’, his culinary skills sadly don’t match his prowess with the bat - mac ‘n’ cheese on the BBQ the extent of his powers. Sounds like he had a fantastic day at Eversholt, and he had some great things to say about the importance of supporting the grassroots game, which you can listen to in the video.     An inspiring afternoon yesterday spent connecting with like-minded professionals and catching up with fellow ex-military members from the Airborne Forces community! Adam Coppin Ambassador - Amazing War Stories . Networking events like this are a great reminder of the shared experiences and the strength of diverse backgrounds. It was also a true honor to meet Mark Ramprakash whose cricketing career and accomplishments are nothing short of legendary.     Lashings World, Cricket Legends Festive Lunch, St Michaels Manor Hotel, St Albans, Friday the 6th of December 2024. A big thank you to my good friend Simon Bates, CEO & Founder of S2M Profits and his wonderful Lashings World, team for their wonderful hopitality. We were joined by England Cricket Legends, Graham Gooch OBE, Mark Ramprakash MBE and winner of the Strickly Come Dancing Glitter Ball and the wonderfully funny and Charismatic Ryan Sidebottom. I would personally like to thank my guests for their wonderful company on the day, Peter Roope - Sherwood Oak Homes, Jeremy Bartholomew White, Pete Alford - Mace Construction Group and Andy Dawling - Saracens Rugby club. Ryan Sidebottom and Mark Ramprakash, were very supportive and interested to hear all about the Pilgrim Bandits Charity and Our Amazing War Stories project. It really was an awesome day, a big thank you once again to Simon Bates, and a special mention to Pete Alford and Andy Dawling, both ex British Paratroopers that have served our country and are both doing very well in Civvie Street.     Well that was something special. Last Friday was a fantastic start to the festive period. St. Michaels Manor in St. Albans was amazing. Staff were welcoming and helpful, food was gorgeous. Thanks to Lashings World for provided a superb, entertaining afternoon with 3 unbelievably friendly and captivating cricketers. The stories, the ambience, the audience, the whole afternoon was beyond expectations. Thanks to all who attended and supported. As a club we are truely grateful. We hope you all enjoyed it and look forward to catching up with you all in 2025 with many things on the horizon.     Wednesday last week saw our VIP Festive Lunch at GAUCHO with our great friend Paul Merson!     Tuesday evening saw our final "Lashings in the Long Room" event for 2024 and a fabulous dinner with football legend Kevin Keegan OBE. Our guests were royally entertained by "King Kev" in the most iconic surroundings of our esteemed host venue.
