  • As we all know, everyone you want to reach is on social media: your customers, prospects, future hires, etc. Social is THE channel for building awareness, driving engagement, and more.   And as we look across our customers, it’s clear that the companies most successful at reaching their target audiences are those that do two things: 1. Activate the maximum number of their people to serve as advocates 2. Definitively tie the outcomes they generate to the audiences their companies need to reach We can help you get started toward doing both of these things by sending you a report that includes the following: -Total number of employees active on social right now -Data on your most active employees -Content they’re engaging with and sharing -Recommendations for activating them as brand advocates -Summary report of the ROI you could generate So what are you waiting for? Get your report. 👇

  • Recently The Times published an article titled "How Bosses Are Using LinkedIn to Charm Investors," which delves into how execs are softening their public personas by posting personal, direct-to-camera videos on social, often to accompany earnings reports. The trend started in America and is now catching on among British execs.   This doesn't surprise us. Here at EveryoneSocial, we host regular webinars on executive activation where we look at effective and engaging exec LinkedIn posts. And the ones where the members of the C-suite get a little personal, tell their stories, and share family photos are often among the top-performing.   What does surprise us? The fact that an H/Advisors report found that 30% of CEOs still aren't on social at all. What a huge disadvantage for their companies!   There's a reason why there's a 23% increase in exec LinkedIn posts globally year over year: It humanizes the C-suite and impacts the company's bottom line.   Each CEO, CMO, and CEO — indeed, every executive at your company — plays an important role in building employer brand, establishing trust in the company, and attracting top talent. And they help inspire all your employees to get involved in #EmployeeAdvocacy.

  • We recently came across an article in Financial Times that confirmed what we've been saying for a while: Execs need to be active on social.   There are expectations for companies' chief executives to regularly share and engage on platforms like LinkedIn. After all, execs play an important role in building employer brand, establishing trust in the company, and attracting top talent.   “It is often easier to build trust with people than corporate brands,” LinkedIn COO Daniel Shapero told Financial Times. "So executives, as an extension of the corporate brand, are using LinkedIn as a way to build connection and trust with the audiences that they care about.”   More execs are finally realizing this, which is evident by the numbers. -In the past five years, there's been a 35% increase in U.S. C-suite professionals using LinkedIn and a 30% rise in the UK. -There's been a 23% increase in exec LinkedIn posts globally year over year. -Exec content gets four times the engagement compared with other users' content. -Execs can expect a 39% surge in followers after posting on LinkedIn. If you're interested in getting your execs more active on social, please join EveryoneSocial CEO Cameron Brain on Thursday at 9 a.m. PT for his weekly Executive Activation webinar. We'll talk about the kind of content the C-suite should share, discuss how to best support them, and look at effective social posts from executives.   Register at the link below. • Publicis Sapient CMO Teresa Barreira recently posted a video talking about the advice she’d give her younger self when starting a career. Her big takeaway? "Share your ideas and opinions now." We couldn't agree more.

Looking back, I wish I had known the importance of recognizing the strengths we often overlook when we are younger. Speaking up, sharing my ideas, and embracing my cultural differences and upbringing have been key to my success. What advice would you give to your younger self?    #Advice #Career #Marketing
