Today, the Fishers Event Center, an ultra-modern, 7,500-seat entertainment venue, will officially open its doors for its first show featuring country band Turnpike Troubadours at 6 p.m. The Fishers Event Center is situated on a sprawling 53-acre plot expanding upon the popular 18-acre lifestyle development Fishers District, and will host everything from concerts, entertainment acts to basketball games while serving as a community-focused venue for local athletes to compete, graduation ceremonies and more. In its final weeks, the building has been transformed from an active construction site into an extraordinary venue, with finishing touches bringing every space to life. Every detail of the event center has been carefully considered to create an exceptional guest experience. From the state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems to the thoughtfully designed seating arrangements, every element is crafted to ensure comfort and enhance the overall atmosphere. Behind the scenes, cutting-edge technology supports seamless operations, while front-facing features, such as elevated food and beverage options, reflect a commitment to quality and innovation. This attention to detail is evident in every corner of the building, delivering a venue that truly stands apart. "We are thrilled to officially open the doors to this incredible venue and welcome our community to experience all it has to offer,” said Fishers Event Center General Manager Mitch List. “Today marks the culmination of years of planning, hard work, and dedication from countless individuals. This is more than just a building, it’s a space designed to bring people together, create unforgettable memories, and set a new standard for entertainment in our region." “This is an important moment in Fishers history,” said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “The Fishers Event Center will be the epicenter of entertainment and experience in our community, where neighbors, visitors, and friends come together to make lifelong memories. And we look forward to showing the world what we already know: Fishers is the best place to live, work, and play.”

Leading the way is CEO Joe DeVito, who, alongside his co-founders Gary Miller and Pat Corydon, started DMC in 2016. Since day one, they’ve been proud to call Fishers home after an initial meeting with Mayor Scott Fadness and Megan Baumgartner, who made it easy for DMC to set up shop in our community.
