Our sights are set on our biggest year yet. In October, the Capture6 team had the opportunity to get together in Palm Springs, CA. We spent time reflecting on our wins as a team this year, and zoned in on the steps we need to take to replicate and amplify those wins in 2025. A few highlights... 🔩 Storage Manager Peter Laciano, M.S. delivered a fascinating deep dive on our storage process, talking through our strategy to open up CDR through accessible storage pathways. 🎈 We met team members Louise Bleach and Sharan Raghavan in person for the first time, and we got to celebrate Louise's birthday! ⛰️ We explored Mount Jacinto State Park on an adventure planned by Chief of Staff Jake Eubank 🚪 Our commercial and technical teams got to work together in a new way, by trying to solve a few mysteries at an escape room! A huge thank you to our wonderful team of carbon removers: Ethan Cohen-Cole, Luke Shors, Thomas Ricciardi, Rahul Surana, Leo Hyoungkun Park, PhD, David Sheh, Jake Eubank, Jeanine Ash, Mary Jo Muller, Alishan Salim, Daniela Hamann-Nazaroff, PE, Tommy Holt, Ruthie Glauber, Anupam Tiwari, Sharan Raghavan All hands on DAC! #Team #Innovation #WorkInClimate

Capture6 is thrilled to announce that we are one of the 12 impact prize winners by the Global Prize Innovation in Desalination (GPID) held at the Innovation-Driven Water Sustainability Conference (IDWS Conference) today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 🌐 GPID is one of the most prestigious and competitive awards in global desalination. This year, GPID received 540 applications from 56 countries. Capture6 is fully committed to working with the desalination industry to reduce its carbon footprint by capturing and removing CO₂. 🌐 Leo Hyoungkun Park, PhD, our VP of Strategic Development, who represented Capture6 at the event said "We appreciate how the jury panel valued our efforts to expand the traditional mandate of the desalination industry by using desalination plants as conduits to capture CO₂ while recovering more freshwater and reducing brine discharge. 🌐 We look forward to collaborating with the Saudi Water Authority and supporting its journey towards decarbonization and climate resilience." #Innovation #Water #ClimateChange #Desalination

Big news for Capture6! 🚨 We are thrilled to announce Rothschild & Co’s carbon credit purchase agreement with Capture6. "Through this multi-year partnership with Capture6, we have an opportunity to support carbon removal technologies with promising signs of scalability and strong benefits beyond carbon removal. This long-term agreement forms part of Rothschild & Co's balanced portfolio approach to carbon compensation, supporting our commitment to effectively remove an equivalent amount of CO₂ for all our residual, unavoidable operational emissions by 2030, in addition to our own decarbonisation targets" - Anne Imbach née Beerlink, Group Head of Sustainability at Rothschild & Co." "Like a lot of startups, different realizations have dawned on us over time. We knew that the ability to process salt and generate freshwater was a co-benefit from the outset, but what we didn't know is that there would be parties more motivated by that than CDR." - Luke Shors on the evolution of Capture6's technology Capture6 Co-Founder and President Dr. Luke Shors and Director of Development Daniela Hamann-Nazaroff, PE got to speak with Christopher Neidl and Tank Chen about our unique, water-positive direct air capture (DAC) technology. Chris and Tank led the conversation through a wide range of topics, including Capture6's origin story and our unique value propositions (both within and outside of the CDR market). Thank you so much to The OpenAir Collective for hosting us as they kick off their newest seasoon, and we can't wait to chat again in the future! 📺 If you missed the live talk, you can catch the recording below ↓↓↓ #ClimateChange #Innovation #ThoughtLeadership

🇦🇪 It was our pleasure to be part of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) demo day, a UAE climate launchpad to support the Emirates’ net-zero goals. Capture6 Co-Founder and President Luke Shors had the chance to share Capture6's novel water recovery and carbon removal joint solution, which integrates directly with existing industrial infrastructure. Director of Development for EMEA Louise Bleach has been pushing multiple projects forward in the area, and we're excited to see momentum building. Our water recovery capabilities make it easy for industry to address national priorities like water security and global concerns like decarbonization simultaneously, saving time and costs. The UAE is bursting with opportunity in the CDR space, and we look forward to continuing our work with many sustainable leaders in the region. A heartfelt thank you to Tara Al Marzooqi, Humza Sheikh, Zayed Shah and whole team at UICCA! #NetZero #UAE #ClimateAction #Decarbonization #CarbonRemoval #Water

CDR companies remove carbon from the atmosphere. Then what? The end stage of most CDR processes is storage for the carbon we’ve removed. That carbon can take many forms. In our case, they’re carbonates. In chemistry, a carbonate is an ion consisting of one carbon and three oxygen atoms. In more simple terms, this is enables Carbon to be locked in a solid, stable form which traps it for 10-100,000+++ years. The MOST important thing about CDR storage is that it needs to be permanent. After all, what's the point of taking it out of the atmosphere if it can just as easily revert back? Scroll through this deck created by Capture6 storage expert Peter Laciano, M.S. to learn how we structure our storage strategy for maximum efficiency ↓ ↓ ↓ #CarbonRemoval #Storage #ClimateChange
