L'enseignement nous permet de partager tous ces acquis en les revalorisant, en les adaptant et en les faisant évoluer pour répondre au contexte actuel et aux besoins de ceux qu'on accompagne. Rien ne me stimule plus qu'une question à laquelle je n'ai pas de réponse! Owing to complex frameworks consultants developed over time & patented; they get caught in the web of over complicating things, bringing complex approaches to seemingly simple problems. Bring in equal focus on how to do in addition to what to do? Many consultants leave how to do unaddressed, in their engagements. Don’t think that if you end on what to do, hoping that client will give more engagement on how to do, you are mistaken

Try to share your knowledge, experience and vision on #linkedin. I am the one who saw the influence of linkedin in the real life. This is just a start. Then, people will begin to recognize you, and appreciate about your posts and you will be invited for special events about your expertise. In parallel you can participate in person events with a dedicated focus.

Be focussed on the outcomes the client wants to achieve. It all starts with some free-formatted open questions - around business challenges, opportunities, culture etc and then propose the value that you can add. Be mindful that good contracting means not only what you will support the client on but also what support would you need from them. Great outcomes can happen only when the consultant and client work in tandem.

Digo isso pq acredito que p/ um consultor e outros profissionais se destacarem em 1 determinado tema é importante, em um 1.º momento, se aprofundarem o máximo possível em 1 área de conhecimento. Mas, para obterem a notoriedade, é fundamental que ampliem seus horizontes e interesses p/ outros temas, fortalecendo o seu “Repertório”. A genialidade de Steve Jobs não foi aguçada se aprofundando no estudo de programação e TI mas, sim, qdo ele decidiu largar a faculdade e passou a assistir aulas de Caligrafia (isso mesmo que vc leu) por diletantismo, além de conhecer o budismo. Tudo emergiu no design e desenvolvimento dos seus produtos. Coisa de Gênio!

This takes listening skills, and trying to bring a perspective that they may not have considered, which adds value to matters in discussion. You become an expert in your field by cultivating greatness in others, even when they may have not seen it themselves.
