What work option did you choose and why?
I've chosen the @flex option, given my recent promotion to sales manager. It allows for valuable face-to-face time with my team and facilitates learning HubSpot with new members. Having tried all options over five years, I appreciate the flexibility @flex offers, vital for balancing work and personal commitments.
What team are you on and what does an average day look like?
I'm part of the foundational team that launched sales in India in 2019. Over the years, I've embraced various roles—from direct sales (Account Executive/Growth Specialist) to managing partner businesses (Channel Account Manager). Currently, I lead the Mid-Market sales team as the first manager for our India business.
My day kicks off with a team catch-up, where we delve into different themes like training, market intel, film clubs, competitive awareness, and sales pitches, each on designated days. Following this, I dive into customer calls, conduct 1:1 meetings, and collaborate with other teams and leaders. Amidst it all, I ensure to take short breaks to maintain sharpness.
Furthermore, as a data nerd, I dedicate substantial time to analyzing data, leveraging insights to enhance team performance efficiently. With a futuristic outlook, I meticulously plan weeks, months, and quarters ahead, both for myself and my team. As the day winds down, I review team activity, track revenue goals, and carefully plan for the upcoming day, adhering closely to my calendar.

What's one thing most people don't know about you?
Amid the COVID lockdown, while some were busy perfecting sourdough starters, I discovered my own obsession: mastering the art of bed-making. It's a skill I never knew I needed, but now I can't imagine my day without the satisfaction of a crisply made bed in mere minutes.
