PEANUTS X HFR
Harlem’s Fashion Row and Peanuts Worldwide are excited to announce their #heartFAM collaboration. This partnership opens doors for designers of color to introduce their authentic and unique perspectives as they create one-of-a-kind pieces that marry clothing and art. The collection, inspired by Peanuts’ character Franklin Armstrong, will embody the love and appreciation we all feel for our friends, family, and community who are with us on our individual journeys.
AMERICAN GIRL X HFR
In celebration of our 35th anniversary and New York Fashion Week 2021, American Girl is excited to partner with Harlem’s Fashion Row and designers Carly Cushnie, Nichole Lynel, Sammy B, and Kristian Lorén. Each designer created exclusive clothing for 18” dolls, including World by Us™.
JANIE AND JACK X HFR
Brooklyn native, Kimberly Goldson has designed a second collection in collaboration with HFR x Janie and Jack — this time she’s sharing her statement styles for tweens. We're proud to continue our shared mission to uplift designers of color.
In 2020, HFR partnered with Janie and Jack to take the children's wear sector by storm. The featured designers, Rich Fresh, Kimberly Goldson, and Kristian Lorén, collaborated to create a collection inspired by the ethereal world of dance and recitals. The collection launch was broadcasted on Youtube and included a fashion show with designer interviews. The designer interviews were hosted by the lovely Zhuri James. The HFR X Janie and Jack collection had parents and caretakers sharing their beautiful children in our crafted collection. Harlem’s Fashion Row continues to uplift up-and-coming designers of color through collaborations such as these.
BANANA REPUBLIC X HFR
Last year, Harlem's Fashion Row and Banana Republic launched a competition to find a designer to create a sustainable collection. Charles Harbison, a widely recognized designer, was selected and we are excited to announce the Harbison x Banana Republic capsule collection launched mid-October. The collection is inspired by the idea of the modern heirloom, through which Charles is able to integrate his community and created families, to explore themes of mentorship and legacy to understand how the innate power of interpersonal connection. This limited-edition sustainable collection was created using organic materials, natural dyes, and limited water production.
LEBRON JAMES X HFR X NIKE
Introducing the first LeBron James signature shoe designed for women by women. The HFR x LeBron 16 Lifestyle shoe was created in partnership with Harlem’s Fashion Row designers: Kimberly Goldson, Undra Celeste, and Fe Noel. Inspired by LeBron's belief that Women of Color are the strongest people on Earth, Nike called upon HFR to envision a signature sneaker that would embody a representation of strength specifically for women. The New York-based collective’s reimagined the LeBron 16 from the sole up.
