Postdoctoral Program - Orientation
Welcome and congratulations!
A Postdoctoral Scholar appointment requires concurrence from the School of Medicine and other approval bodies of the University of Washington and this process takes time.
We require:
- 1. An electronic copy of your current CV. If you have any postdoc appointments previous to joining GS, please list the exact start date (month, day, year) for each, and the exact end date for all but your most recent postdoc. Also, please include the date you most recently updated your CV, directly on page 1 of your CV.
- 2. A copy of your PhD diploma, if you received it within 1 year of your start date with GS. If you do not yet have your diploma, we can accept a degree verification letter, on official letterhead, from your university’s registrar or graduate school. It should indicate the department of your studies and the date you completed all of your coursework for your PhD. This must be signed by an official at the university with certified translation, if necessary. If you received your diploma a year or more before your start date with GS, please simply provide the date it was conferred.
We’d like to have a portrait of you for our postdoc directory and your pronouns, if you’d like to share them.
