Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program is an intensive, nine-week internship designed to provide research experience and mentorship for undergraduate students who are interested in biological research. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will complete an independent research project and present their findings at a competitive poster session.
Genome 499
UW students interested in conducting research in a Genome Sciences faculty lab for academic credit may enroll in Genome 499 (independent research). Interested students should examine our faculty research descriptions and then contact faculty members of interest to see whether they have an opening for an undergradute researcher. Students may enroll in Genome 499 year round.
