A spinoff of Prime Day, you can expect to find steep discounts on everything kitchen related, from cookware and bakeware, to tools and food storage. And the one piece of information we were missing — the actual dates of the sale — has finally been announced. Prime Big Deal Days will officially kick off on October 10, and will run through October 11. Similar to this summer's Prime Day, in order to have access to every deal you'll want to sign up for a Prime account, though not all of the sales are member exclusive. And even though we’re still a few weeks away from the event, Amazon is already slashing prices on items that are well worth checking out, especially since we don’t know how long they’ll last. From KitchenAid mixers, to All-Clad sets to Rubbermaid containers, shop over 40 deals up to 74% off right now. This ThermoPro model is double-discounted, and is key for making confections like brittles, puddings and curds, meringue-based buttercreams, doughnuts, and more. You could of course also use it for proteins in a pinch. We love how fast it is at displaying temperatures, which is key when you’re trying to be precise. Plus it can attach itself right onto your pot or pan for a hands off, constant temperature gauge. There are so many editor-loved options on sale right now. Two of my personal favorite appliances are on sale: the KitchenAid classic Stand mixer, and this Philips air fryer. I’ve owned this KitchenAid for more than 20 years at this point, and it can still whip a meringue for 10 minutes on high without skipping a beat. The 4.5-quart capacity is just enough size for home baking, plus you’ll get all the accessories and settings you need. Philips Premium Airfryer XXL Amazon $350 $129 at Amazon This Philips air fryer is a whopping 63% off — a much steeper discount than when I bought it a year ago. It has a 4-quart capacity, so it’s a great size for a small family or for one person. We love the Premier Rubbermaid container set for an all-around plastic container set, since they’re lightweight and more durable than many other options on the market. The 28-piece set is on sale right now, and is the perfect set for your fridge and your pantry. It includes 14 different containers in all sizes, from small to large, plus their lids. During testing, we found that the tight seal on these lids really helped keep food fresh, and they never leaked, either. Rubbermaid Premier 28-Piece Container Set Amazon $50 $37 at Amazon This large container set is an especially great buy for right now, since they’re the perfect vessels for flour, sugar, oats, and other popular baking ingredients. Each container can hold nearly 6 quarts, so there’s plenty of room for a conventional 5-pound bag of flour. You’ll get four in a set too, plus reusable labels, so you can use them for a range of ingredients.
