Time Warner Cable Just Did A Blackout Preventing Me From Appearing On TV In New York

I was just on Current TV with Eliot Spitzer, talking about the Fiscal Cliff, taxes, and so forth.

Unfortunately, viewers in New York weren't able to watch it.

That's because, just about two hours earlier, Current announced its sale to Al-Jazeera. And with that Time Warner decided unilaterally to pull Current off its cable lineup.

And Time Warner works with amazing speed when it comes to these things!

My hit was at 8:15, and apparently the network was pulled at 8:09.

Here's the sad, blank TV in the green room.
