Here's how you can build resilience and respond to failure through an executive coaching program.
I don't have the answer to this question (yet!). I am however running a live research project on the impact of workplace coaching on resilience and wellbeing, which will go some way to building the body of knowledge that we can implement in future. So, if you are keen to learn more about it, updates on the project are getting posted here: https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/workplace-coaching-research-6909071785195913216/?lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Amessaging_thread%3Bdfb54b9f-810a-4f37-ae59-0f5b7801ede5

You're a life coach who needs more clients. What can you do to get more business?
I think it can be helpful to shift away from the word "business" as it can make it feel transactional. Coaching is ALL about the relationship. Yes, you need the training, qualifications and credentials to give you credibility, but people will choose you because they connect and relate to YOU. All relationships start with a connection. Get clear on what you want to connect with people about, and what you want to work with them on. Then think; where do I need to be/what do I need to be doing/who do I need to be, to meet more of the people I want to build relationships with. And finally, TRUST yourself in those conversations that start as a result of that!

At its core Project-5’s solution focussed coaching is directed at helping NHS staff to find
solutions to professional/career issues rather than exploring problems. It focusses on building
up strengths rather than investigating weaknesses, finding positive ways forward, and on
overcoming barriers rather than exploring hurdles to desired goals.
The solution focussed coach explores client’s understandings largely using open questions. -

Which elements of resilience and Wellbeing are impacted by workplace coaching?
On-going research. Publishing date TBC
This grant funded research project is on-going, commencing December 2021.
The grant was awarded from The Coaching Science Practitioner Handbook project.
The purpose of the book project was purely nonprofit - to give away a research grant based on the sales revenues. The goal was to find a coach that was happy to engage in coaching process research and ready to move on to peer-reviewed journal publication too.
That coach is Sheela Hobden.

Keswick to Barrow 43 mile run
A charity event which has become popular with runners - I completed this challenge in just over 8 hours.
Supporting local causes is key to this event and many charities benefit. -
Jurassic Coast Triple Marathon
A triple marathon - one a day over a weekend, along the stunning Dorset Jurassic coast paths - starting near where Broadchurch was filmed! The constant climbs from beach to cliff made for a "varied" route. I raised £1000 for MIND on this event, which was cash matched by CLS, who I was working for at the time.

OK, so this was a personal "project" but I'm just as proud of it as my "professional" achievements, so I thought, why not list it here?!
Training for an ironman is pretty serious business, even if you are doing it "just to get round" like I did. In one of my peak training weeks, I notched up 17 hours of training. That means getting up at 4.30am to get out on the bike to do 30-40 miles before work and coming home on the same day to pop a 10k in before bed! It has added benefits too…OK, so this was a personal "project" but I'm just as proud of it as my "professional" achievements, so I thought, why not list it here?!
