"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 to 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?" This was the key question myself and my co-founder Jonathan Patterson posed to over 100 HR and Learning and Development Leaders across the UK, Europe, USA, and Asia. From multinationals to SMEs, consistent themes and key trends emerged. There were some surprises too! This whitepaper takes a deeper dive into these and draws out the key statistics, themes and trends that globally, organisations are facing. We all know that gathering data about how our team feels is essential, but it's often difficult to know what to do with it once we've got it. This is a great read from HBR, packed full of useful advice. Some highlights for me? 1. It's not survey fatigue that kills employee engagement, but 'inaction fatigue' 2. Use survey results as the springboard to explore more. Don't assume you know the reason, ask 3. Prioritise your response, don't try to do it all - loving the 1-2-3 model (Choose 1 topic, do 2 things, check in for progress 3 times) 4.
