That was the grim thesis of Laurie Laybourn and James Dyke in The Conversation UK. With ample evidence from recent events here in the UK, evident in the great reporting of Robin McKie and Tom W. about Reform's tactic of blaming govt for climate shocks while denying anything can be done to prevent them. 🎙️ Can we escape the doom loop? 🌍 We recently attended a cross-party Climate and Nature Bill rally called ‘It’s Time to Follow the Science’. There were speeches from scientists, politicians and activists about the importance of the CAN Bill and the event called on us all to contact our MP to ask them to attend the second reading on the 24th of January 2025. 📢 We need 102 MPs to attend the second reading so that the Bill can pass to the next stage.
