What an incredible partnership event yesterday and thank you so much to our collaborators Make Strides Learning & Development Worcestershire Growth Hub Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership We had an action packed event exploring the central role and value of people key drivers of business growth. We had x 39 members and visitors in attendance and enjoyed a lovely light lunch 🤩 Huge congratulations goes to all of the NWBusAwards finalists who were announced, if you are one of these lucky people but were unable to be with us yesterday, you will be notified today via email 🤞🏆 We raised £240.00 in aid of British Heart Foundation Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel you were perfect hosts as always! Please join us for a collaborative event taking place at Hogarths Stone Manor Hotel on Tuesday 8th October 10am-1pm to include a light lunch. This will be an action-based event exploring the central role and value of people as key drivers of business growth. ·      We will provide insight into the current skills landscape in England ·      We will demystify the concept of ‘workforce planning’ with an emphasis on role vs skill ·      We will explore FREE tools to help you ‘get ready’ to develop the team and a plan your future workforce ·      We will explain the Skills Boost grant available to Worcestershire residents “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” – Richard Branson This event is for business owners, HR Managers, Training Managers and those responsible for people. Essentially everyone! The event will be informative and action based with an opportunity for building relationships and a light lunch. We will also be announcing the NWBusAwards 2024 finalists.
