The Liverpool City Region presents a transformative investment landscape, one that was highlighted and celebrated at this morning's launch of the Real Estate and Capital Investment Programme led by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Joined by leaders and decision-makers the event highlighted the opportunities for businesses to be involved within the city region investment programming through pathways such as MIPIM and UKREiiF as a way of driving forward the narrative of the Liverpool City Region. Board member and assistant chief executive of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool), Emily Robson spoke on a panel chaired by Louise Garforth to discuss the role of the Future Impact Board and why the voice of the next generation is important. Emily discussed our plans for the year ahead as we roll out our 2040 vision - a considered document rich in data and insight that we can use to influence and inspire, putting the voice of 18-35-year-olds living and working with the Liverpool City Region at the centre of conversation and decision making. Great to also hear from Dave Dargan and Sean Keyes, as they discussed their priorities for the year ahead and the value of private/public partnerships. What an amazing weekend spent celebrating the soft launch of Forest Holidays Glentress Forest in Scotland. Starship designed and engineered these fantastic new lodges which were built at our Wirral Water Campus. They then made their journey up to Scotland where they were assembled and completed on site. It has been a fantastic project to work on and we would like to thank the team at Forest Holidays for the opportunity and our team at Starship for delivering such a great project. No time to rest 🛌.
