  • We’ve officially embraced Video Remote Assistance (VRA) technology to revolutionise how we diagnose and address repairs for our customers. This solution enables customers to report repair issues via live video technology, allowing colleagues to diagnose problems remotely, provide immediate guidance for simple fixes, and make sure that we’re equipped to fix the issue the first time around. We’d like to give recognition to our colleagues, who have been driving this digital initiative - Steven Nichol, Karen Dooley, Connie McCrudden, Daniel Cook, Phil Newbury, Scott Callery and Matthew Darlington.  This innovation has been in partnership with Salesforce, who recently invited us to share our VRA journey at the Salesforce Housing Day! Sharing how technology is enhancing tenant satisfaction, boosting first-time fix rates, and supporting our 2030 vision was a proud moment for us all. We’re excited about the possibilities this technology brings for the future. To our customers and partners—thank you for your continued support as we build a smarter, greener community together. #InnovationInAction #CustomerFirst #VRA #Salesforce #BeMoreMagenta

  • We recently hosted a collaborative event that brought together our Board members and the Magenta Customer & Communities Committee (MCCC) for the first time in one session. While both groups meet independently throughout the year, this session was all about closing the gap between decision-makers and the customers and communities their decisions affect. This session reaffirmed what we already know: honest conversations and collaboration are the keys to creating a brighter future for everyone in our communities. • We have been named as one of ten pilots in a national community-led employment scheme called ‘JobsPlus’. Based on an American model which has a proven success record in increasing employment opportunities, JobsPlus uses a community focus and person-led approach to support people into employment or to find better employment opportunities. This type of support might include helping to explore job opportunities that match a person’s needs, developing interview skills and support with managing health conditions. Headed by JobsPlus Manager Sally Ross, the Magenta Living pilot is supporting those in Bidston Rise, North Birkenhead, and aims to help people in the area move closer to employment. We're committed to support all of our customers with employability needs through a range of services such as Inspiring Dreams, Live & Learn and Magenta Learning Fund. Now with the introduction of the JobPlus pilot, we are able to provide even more specialised support to the residents of Bidston Rise. #JobsPlus #EmploymentSupport #Employability

  • This week, Magenta leaders and directors wear their white ribbons in support of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. The white ribbon is a symbol that has been embraced here at Magenta, from planting it in white flowers outside of our Partnership Building to organising a White Ribbon Hub event on December 3rd. It is a symbol of hope for victims and those at risk of gender-based violence. We wear it to demonstrate our commitment to doing the right thing and playing our part in keeping our customers, colleagues and communities safe. #16DaysofActivism #WhiteRibbon #VAWG
