This event aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of their post-sixth form options and will feature over 80 exhibitors, including employers, universities, training providers, and organizations offering gap year opportunities. It's a great opportunity to help students make informed decisions about their future by allowing them to engage directly with representatives from a wide variety of sectors. 🚢Future Talent Inspired at Maritime and Transport Careers Day✈️ More than 200 students took the opportunity to connect with leading industry professionals, showcasing diverse career paths at a careers event dedicated to the maritime and transport sectors. 🚚🚢🚉🌟 The inaugural event, organized by the Maritime and Transport Careers Programme (MTCP) and business partners, was held at Associated British Ports' Ocean Terminal in Southampton. The fantastic Hampshire Growth Hub team had a brilliant day training with Karl Grimes, the Senior Manager for Careers Hubs at The Careers & Enterprise Company. He’s certainly a busy man, as he's responsible for leading the national Careers Hub strategy and overseeing learning and development. 🚀 Together, the team covered a wide range of topics and had very meaningful conversations. As Karl says, their commitment to continuous careers education improvement was undeniable!🌟 Well done, team, and thank you to Karl for coming all the way down from Burnley to Winchester! 👏
