About us
The East Midlands Institute of Technology (www.emiot.ac.uk ) delivers the very best in technical education, aligned to the fast growing economy and opportunities of the East Midlands and driven by local employers. Our curriculum combines the strengths of four education providers; the University of Derby, Derby College, Loughborough University and Loughborough College. Our business partners - Alstom, Bloc Digital, ESO/National Grid, Fujitsu, Rolls-Royce and Uniper - test and challenge the EMIoT offer, to keep it relevant and cutting edge. We delivery technical skills and careers pathways aligned to industry's needs; from Level 3 (T-levels and apprenticeships) through to Level 7 (post-graduate research and higher learning), with content informed by and involving our business partners. We welcome engagement and conversations with other regional businesses, interested in shaping the future of skills and technical education.
