🎄 This Christmas, an incredible 13 Corporate Patrons and 1 CRASH Supporter put together and donated thousands of washbags for people experiencing homelessness and children and adults in hospice care. CRASH’s washbag initiative aims to support homelessness charities and hospices with essential toiletries, by pairing our Corporate Patrons with charities local to them so that they can create and donate bags for the people each charity supports. From Edinburgh to Bath, colleagues across the UK joined in the Christmas giving and donated items such as socks, soap, toothbrushes and hand cream to vulnerable people this Christmas We are so grateful to our Corporate Patrons for their generosity and kindness this festive season; a huge thank you to 8build, ACO Technologies plc, AECOM, Arcadis, BAM UK & Ireland, Beale & Co, British Gypsum, Dalkia UK, Dulux Decorator Centre, Geberit, Hilti Group, NG Bailey, Taylor Wimpey plc, and CRASH Supporter Trading Technologies. A special #THANKYOU to Taylor Wimpey plc for their incredible support on CRASH's washbag initiative this year... Corporate Patron Taylor Wimpey supported homelessness charities across their 24 business units with a total of 3,137 washbags this Christmas! These were donated to local homelessness charities such as Kairos Community Trust in South London, St Petrock's in Exeter and Emmaus Merseyside. Kenward Trust in Kent received over 300 washbags from Taylor Wimpey – dropped off by Santa and the Grinch! Employees spent weeks collating essential toiletries and putting together bags which will make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness this Christmas. CRASH is so grateful for Taylor Wimpey's amazing support through this initiative; we hope that colleagues enjoyed creating the washbags and are proud of the incredible result. A BIG #THANKYOU to our festive fundraisers this year! 🎄 🎁 Acts of Kindness 🎄 Gratitude and Generosity in Action! The NG Bailey London & SE office sprang into action to provide washbags full of toiletries for the homeless on behalf of CRASH - Construction Industry's Charity and Your Place. With thanks to our supply chain partners, we are able to help the local communities in which we work. We were so overwhelmed with the donations from BSS Key Accounts, Rexel, ABB, Wolseley Group, Kitsons Technical Supplies, Schneider Electric, Adcock Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Nationwide Platforms. We are extremely grateful to Arcadis for the generous donation of toiletries and warm clothing as part of the CRASH - Construction Industry's Charity wash bag initiative in support of people experiencing homelessness. We handed those items out to 68 clients yesterday at our latest Health & Wellbeing Fair at our day centre near Brick Lane. Thanks to this wonderful initiative, our clients can now keep warm, clean and head into the festive period feeling a renewed sense of positivity so thank you very much! Our Health & Wellbeing Fairs offer a wide range of physical/mental health services like x-rays, sight tests (and glasses), hearing tests and dental services, GP assessments, substance use support, STI/Hep. B & C and other screening services, and, psychotherapy to name a few. A delicious Christmas lunch was also available as well as massage, haircuts and acupuncture.

CRASH was thrilled to return to the Construction Marketing Awards as charity partner, with the event raising £1,671 for our vital work with #homelessness charities and #hospices. The awards showcase the construction industry's creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in marketing. Guests donated and entered the charity draw with a chance to win one of three amazing prizes; we are so grateful to our prize sponsors, Corporate Patrons VolkerFitzpatrick and Dulux Decorator Centre, as well as The Hilton Bankside.
