It’s great to hear that confidence to travel overseas is on the rise, according to new research from ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents). ABTA’s Travel Confidence Index shows the UK is feeling more confident about travelling abroad now than it was at the same time last year. And while families and 25-34-year-olds are the most confident, the biggest year-on-year increase in confidence is among those aged 45-54. The aim of ABTA’s index is to track any changes in travel confidence among different age groups and types of travellers and to identify the most effective actions the industry can take to collectively build consumer confidence.
