  • 🤖 AI in Insurance: Progress or Peril? As Artificial Intelligence transforms insurance, a hidden danger looms—algorithmic denial. Claims are rejected in seconds, often without human oversight, leaving vulnerable policyholders like Frances Walter, 85, stranded without care despite her severe pain. 💡 Imagine needing urgent care, only to have your claim dismissed by an AI that doesn’t fully grasp your situation. It’s not just about efficiency—it’s about real lives at stake. Families are forced to fight for coverage while insurers focus on cost-cutting. The balance between fairness and efficiency is tipping dangerously. AI can revolutionize insurance, but only if it remains ethical, transparent, and fair. 🚨 What’s the real cost of efficiency? Regulation and oversight are crucial to prevent bias and protect people over profits. 👉 Read the full article on our website to uncover the human cost of automation and how the industry can do better: https://lnkd.in/eZ9T5GJV #AIinInsurance #EthicalAI

  • 🚀 What is Venture Clienting, and Why Should Companies Care? Innovation is the lifeblood of any competitive company—but how can businesses access breakthrough solutions without extensive resource commitments? Venture clienting is a strategy reshaping how corporations and startups collaborate. In this model, large companies act as early-stage clients for startups. Instead of demanding equity or ownership, they buy and use startup products—even if those products are still in development. 📌 For startups, this offers vital income, feedback, and visibility. 📌 For corporations, it’s an opportunity to tap into cutting-edge solutions without the traditional risks of ownership. Why Venture Clienting Works 💡: 1️⃣ Access to startup innovation without lengthy development cycles. 2️⃣ Startups maintain independence, enabling creativity to flourish. 3️⃣ Companies can rapidly address their biggest innovation challenges. The concept was pioneered by Gregor Gimmy, founder of 27pilots, during his time at BMW. There, he created the BMW Startup Garage, the first-ever venture client unit, proving how large corporations can strategically benefit from startup collaboration. Venture clienting isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a proven approach to future-proof your business while empowering the next wave of entrepreneurs. Curious about how this works in practice? Let’s discuss how venture clienting can revolutionize your innovation strategy. #InnovationStrategy #VentureClienting

  • The evolution from AI proof-of-concept to scalable implementation is perhaps the most critical challenge facing insurers today. We're particularly intrigued by the focus on continuous monitoring and customer feedback - it reminds us of how Zurich's approach to digital transformation has consistently prioritized user experience over pure technological advancement. Looking forward to this ITC Europe!

  • The productivity comparison really caught our attention, too. It's fascinating to see how different countries are leveraging AI in insurance at varying rates. In our experience working with #insurance data, we've found that AI's real power lies not in replacing human judgment, but in enhancing our ability to spot patterns and trends we might otherwise miss. What we find particularly intriguing is how #AI could help address the challenges of an aging workforce while potentially making insurance careers more attractive to younger professionals. What if artificial intelligence could benefit humans in the insurance industry? That’s the question Allianz explores in a recent report, starting with a survey of 6,000 people across six European countries on how they perceive AI. The findings reveal that many are apprehensive, citing concerns over AI's impact on society, jobs, and wages. The report then shifts to the insurance industry, highlighting the opportunities AI could bring. As a data-driven sector, insurance could see significant benefits in automation and productivity enhancements, particularly in response to challenges like an aging population and shrinking workforce. AI has the potential to complement and augment employees’ skills, not replace them. ✨ To me, one of the most insightful aspects is the comparison of productivity across countries on page 10, offering a useful benchmark when evaluating InsurTech KPIs. Additionally, the report outlines other AI-driven opportunities along the insurance value chain, summarized in an infographic on page 9. #insurance #insurtech #artificialintelligence (BestOfH2)
