Internal Consultant Community (ICC)

Overview

The internal consultant community is a forum to collaborate, share best practices, and engage in continuous improvement and education. Our value is leveraging knowledge and resources among systemwide internal consultants to advance location priorities.

Objectives

We are guided by three objectives:

  • Strengthen Networks – we will work to grow our networks and engage with each other.
  • Expand Skills – we share what works and learn from each other.
  • Continuously Improve – we look for ways to improve, based on evidence, from each other.

Community

We broadly define “internal consultants” as those that engage on client projects at their UC location around seven broad capabilities. Furthermore, we have taken a spoke-and-hub approach by identify points of contact at campuses to distribute information to interest and relevant parties at each location.

While the SPMO serves as the primary conveyer of the ICC, it shares overall management responsibility with a planning council and executive advisors:
