It’s frustrating to see how celebrities, who are often so conscious about their health, can endorse products like this, while keeping their own diets free from sugar. We, the common people, may fall for these endorsements just because we admire them, but it’s crucial to question what we’re really consuming. The contrast with Singapore’s strict Nutri-Grade guidelines is striking. If such regulations were in place here, perhaps we’d be more informed about what’s in our food and drink. It’s disheartening to think that products like Smoodh, with high sugar content, could be marketed to our children without proper nutritional transparency. We must take the initiative to make informed choices for our families. Let’s prioritize health over celebrity endorsements and strive to create a healthier environment at home.

Shailendra Singh This post isn't easy to write as my Imagination stops where his #Excellence begins. It took us a month to "break the ice" then as I wasn't a telecom expert. I picked up from him tremendous aspects in a few months..such was his #energy & wisdom.. ⭐ #Magnanimity - Mr. Singh has a big heart.. many of us know about his royal lineage but to me royalty is about being considerate in one's everyday life..he is a fine example. ⭐ #Grace – a Striking trait of Mr. Singh is his graceful ways.. while all of us can buckle under pressure and lose our cool, Mr. Singh has an amazing Aura full of elegance & grace.. ⭐ #Accessibility - I remember multiple times discussing proposals late in the night beyond 10pm.. while telecom has a gruelling work schedule not many C-level people are accessible at such hours. ⭐ #Humble & Supportive - I find him to be super humble and helpful.. I reached out to him after a decade for help on a network issue in Bglr and he obliged immediately -got the problem fixed. ⭐ #Competition understanding - Mr. Singh has an intense passion to know about Competition/market activity.. in those days we had a dozen operators in a Circle, still i was amazed to see his rigour in this. ⭐ Team #Bonding- Mr. Singh is highly social and regularly organised occasions for his teams to come together, celebrate small wins & bond.. those who know him would know his intense love for #music, he is a great singer and regaled us many times..a Natural..can't forget his nostalgic favourite- "saare sapne.." ⭐ #Constructive Feedback -he told me 3 things which I remember after 12 years and imbibed- 1) Be calendarized 2) Be accommodating of your peers.. 3)Prioritize by Revenue.. On point 2 he recommended– Be sensitive to Peers and "Criticize privately, Appreciate publicly." ⭐ #Witty – there are very few leaders who integrate Humour with their working style.. he is astounding at leveraging Wit. What we learn from great leaders-we can't forget even if we lose touch..To say Mr. Singh is just a g8 leader would be understating, he is a superb human and very joyful..what I have written is just a drop in the ocean. He had a big Impact..I believe I became a better professional & better person due to his inputs. We have come a long way since Covid. Each organization and each employee has had a different take and experience on returning to work from office full time. What has your experience been like ? Juggling between work and home has been a roller coaster ride for me. I absolutely love working from office as it allows me to get a lot of work done faster when I meet people in person and don’t have to schedule meetings for every single thing. We are still a hybrid work place, with lots of work hour flexibility which allows us to have a good work life balance. I have friends who are expected to be at work every single day and also clock 9 hrs per day. In the current scenario, that could be deterrent for many. But like they say, “to each their own” The transition back to full-time office work will likely look different than before the pandemic, with an increased focus on flexibility, employee well-being, and a mix of in-person and digital collaboration. The challenge will be finding the right balance between office time and remote flexibility, ensuring both productivity and employee satisfaction while also enhancing company culture and leveraging modern technologies. #hybridwork #postcovid #worklifebalance

Manager vs Leader There have been a lot of posts comparing a manager and a leader on various forums. In almost all of them, the leader is depicted as someone superior to the manager because of various leadership traits demonstrated by the leader. My opinion is that this depiction is inaccurate. The manager is a position in an organization. The manager is given a team and goals to be met which are aligned with the goals of the larger organization. The manager could use various techniques to accomplish the goals with the help of the team. The techniques could be - motivating the team or creating an ecosystem for the team to self-sustain. The techniques vary based on the maturity and experience levels of the team. The leader is a role and not a position. Any individual in the organization can assume the role of a leader in their area of ownership or expertise. They could be a manager or an individual contributor. The most important aspect about being a leader is the demonstration of good leadership attributes that are necessary in the context. Most of the times, the goal of the leader is to grow the collective abilities of the team or groom other potential leaders, definitely not restricted to them alone. Both the leader and the manager can co-exist and mostly overlap. They can be successful in their own ways and contribute to the success of their teams and organization. Comparing them and deriding one over the other is a misrepresentation of either of them.

✨ A Lesson from My Cab Ride ✨ Last week, I had a pleasant cab ride from my home to the office. While the route itself isn't ideal, filled with potholes and ongoing metro construction (you know how the route is to DLF Manapakkam😉), the ride felt smooth. Typically, I'd keep checking my watch to see how quickly I could reach, but I didn’t bother about it that day. The cab driver expertly navigated the bumps, avoided unnecessary shortcuts, and made sure I reached comfortably, rather than just quickly. 👌 💡This experience got me thinking about the onboarding processes for the apps I’ve worked on. Most of us have always been focused on how quickly users can complete the onboarding and access the app. But I realized today that I’ve overlooked something important: the quality and purpose of the onboarding flow. Just like my cab ride, it’s not always about how fast the user reaches the destination—it’s about how useful and fulfilling the journey is. Yes, we need to optimize for the time, but we also need to ensure that the onboarding is purposeful, making the user feel guided and satisfied as they start their journey within the app. 🚀 Some examples of apps that take this approach: Robinhood, Notion, Canva and more. I recently worked with @Powercash (https://lnkd.in/gUZsbJG2) for approximately two months, a company founded by #DeependraNaruka.#Radhikanarula(HR) ( https://lnkd.in/guxvvDZZ) Unfortunately, just five days before the salary date, the entire team was unexpectedly let go, and I haven't received any payment for the two months of hard work I put in. This experience has been a huge disappointment, especially right before Diwali. I want to caution others to be aware of this situation. In my opinion, @Powercash did not act with integrity, and I would advise potential job seekers to approach with caution. Transparency and accountability are crucial in the workplace, and I hope no one else faces a similar situation. 1: PowerCash company in question has not registered with the appropriate government authorities, which is a clear violation of legal and regulatory requirements. Immediate disciplinary action should be taken to address this non-compliance. This may include issuing a formal notice to the company, imposing penalties as stipulated by law, and conducting further investigations to determine the extent of the breach. Such actions are necessary to maintain transparency, uphold legal standards, and ensure that all businesses operate within the framework set by the government. 2:PowerCash appears to be engaging in fraudulent practices, deceiving both employees and customers. Employees report being misled about salaries, benefits, and job conditions, often receiving delayed or incomplete payments.
