It's kind of desperate times, calls for desperate measures. Let's go." There are no peaches left (too hot and too cold), just cherries. Question: Why are you painting your kitchen? Answer: My microwave rangehood was getting old and we decided to replace it with a regular rangehood, and an air fryer / microwave / toaster oven. The new 'range hood' is old school, but is silver, and so matches with the appliances. It gives us more height to cook on the stove. It's simple, easy to fix, and there's more space. The air fryer / microwave / toaster allows us to cook different things and try different things. It's using counter space, so we have to get rid of some other things to make space for it. When we removed the old range hood microwave, the old wall was exposed, so we decided to paint it. Basically, now we have to renovate the kitchen and repaint the walls. There is a lot of mess everywhere, but we have a vision of what we want. The vision is important to keep going and keep working. We can't look at the mess, or it will be overwhelming, so keep thinking about the vision and end result. Keep moving forward in baby steps so it doesn't cost too much, all at once.
