Seedly x URA | Shaping the Future of Work 🌱 On 7 December, we gathered at the URA Centre with our community to explore URA’s decentralisation strategy and how it is shaping Singapore’s future workspaces and career landscape! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event so impactful. Here are some key highlights from our meetup: 🌱 Workplace Wishes We delved into findings from our market survey, uncovering workplace preferences of our workforce. 🌱 Decentralisation and Growth Nodes Li Shean Ng from URA shared how decentralisation is creating vibrant, self-sufficient growth nodes that aim to bring jobs closer to homes, reduce commute times, and enhance the quality of work-life balance. 🌱 Prepping for Tomorrow Dr. Nadya Shaznay Patel, EdD delivered an inspiring session on integrating lifelong learning, career development, and the exciting opportunities emerging within Punggol Digital District, which is set to be a hub for innovation and employment in the digital economy. 🌱 The Future of Work Our panel—featuring Dr. Nadya Patel, Brandon Lee (WSG), and Andre Chong (JustCo)—discussed strategies for navigating job transitions, embracing lifelong learning, and leveraging new opportunities within Singapore’s evolving work facilities. A big thank you to our speakers and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA) for collaborating with us to explore the evolving workplace preferences of Singapore’s workforce. We’re excited to see how URA’s decentralisation strategy and the development of growth nodes will redefine workspaces, foster innovation, and create thriving communities across Singapore.
