🎉 Special News - Let's bring Climate Education to the wider audience in Singapore 🇸🇬 The Transmutation Principle is eager to introduce Sustainability in my Community (SYNC) - a community-based series of free workshop & training programmes focusing on the intersections between sustainability and social impact topics. 🌟 We believe that sustainability does not need to be restricted just to people with expertise or experience. Caring for the environment also helps us care for each other. Social impact and sustainability are inseparable and we hope to help people rediscover that connection. 🫂 SYNC is not just a learning space, but a community platform to equip people with the training, facilitation tools and basic knowledge skill sets to facilitate at a community workshop. We bring the materials, opportunities and we invite you to bring your heart and hands! 🪴 We are happy to announce that this initiative is supported by Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Singapore & SG Eco Fund to help make the Workshops, Trainings and Community Workshops free & accessible for all! 🤝 We are currently working with incoming partners to make this dream a reality. Look out for our post next week on partnership opportunities. Our first event will occur on Jan 22, 2025; https://lnkd.in/eYeQhk8q What are you waiting for? Let's SYNC up!

🌿 Exciting Progress with Climate Fresk Rollout at Maison CELINE! 🌿 After a first workshop held with 11 Senior Managers from various departments at Maison Celine on August 21, Thibaut and Caroline facilitated a second Climate Fresk this Tuesday, November 19, with 10 more curious participants. Following the workshop, they had the opportunity to learn more about the company's carbon footprint reporting, with the details of what is more or less polluting through the explanation of scopes 1, 2 and 3. On Tuesday, we had the chance to hear Maison Celine's Head of CSR, Caroline O., give a video presentation to talk about it. The brainstorming was curated to Maison Celine's specific context in order for the participants to think about how they can act concretely and locally from #Singapore! Finally, they had to develop an action plan to implement their solutions and possibly extend them to #Asia. Thank you Maison CELINE for trusting us in your journey! 👉 If you want to know more about us or if you are interested in joining our team up, drop a message to [email protected]

Meet our team - Caroline, Sustainability Analyst at The Transmutation Principle 🤝 🎙 What you do at The Transmutation Principle? As a sustainability analyst, I work with different companies on their #sustainability strategy and the deployment of various workshops to raise #awareness on climate change. I also do research, mostly to adapt existing workshops to the Southeast Asia and #Singapore context. 🎙 What's your expertise? When I joined, I was already a Climate Fresk facilitator, so I've dedicated some time to delivering Climate Fresk workshops curated to the client’s needs. The two areas I work on are #Adaptation to Climate Change and Green #Mobility. I help clients in the Transportation sector and we deployed a new workshop, the Mobility Collage (La Fresque de la Mobilité), to help them raise awareness on issues that are specific to the sector. 🎙What are you passions in life? I’m very curious and I find new hobbies every week. When I moved to Singapore, I discovered pickleball and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. I spend my free time doing various sports or creative activities. I enjoy nature and the outdoor, especially the beach! My favorite thing remains travelling and discovering new countries and cultures! See you next week to meet another member of our wonderful team! 🍀 👉 If you want to know more about us or if you are interested in joining our team up, drop a message to [email protected]

Sharing our Biodiversity Circle Evening with The Mandala Group on Friday, November 8! 🌿 Last Friday Night, we held our first Biodiversity Circle - a networking, panel sharing and rapid fire collage #event that brought together people from different spaces. Together with curious participants who wanted to know more about #biodiversity, we gathered at the Mandala Club to reflect on what happened at #COP16 - the Sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the Convention on Biological Diversity. Following a quick run-down of COP16, we listened to Leo Nyein and Dex Chen sharings - professionals who are working hard to push forward and advocate for #nature. 👉 Leo presented us some of Singapore's own national biodiversity targets and gave us insight into his own research and work in #conservation. 👉 Dex, on the other hand, tackled the question of where biodiversity targets gaps lie in terms of regulations, commitments, challenges and benefits from a business perspective. We reflected and shared on why Biodiversity targets are difficult to achieve, amongst things such as lack of #knowledge, limited capacities and where it all stands with Climate Change and Policies! Everyone was also inspired by the personal video Benjamin Von Wong addressed to us after watching the behind the scenes of his Biodiversity Jenga at COP16. We wrapped up the evening with a teaser into the Biodiversity Collage Workshop, over food and drinks. We thank everyone for coming, and keep your eyes peeled for future reiterations of the Biodiversity Circle! 🙏 Thank you Dex Chen & Leo Nyein for sharing your insights with us and Benjamin Von Wong for your video! Thank you The Mandala Group and especially to Lilly Milligan Gilbert for hosting this wonderful event! Thank you Natalie, Andras and Natasha for making this #event possible!
