Vanna White’s tip to achieving toned arms involves more than just flipping giant letter boards.

The Wheel of Fortune co-host, 67, took to Instagram to share her “little pre-show workout" of lifting 10 lb. weights — in a dress and heels!

In a video shared earlier this month, the television icon can be seen working on her biceps while wearing a floral-print midi dress and black pumps, plus a full face of glam, right before filming.

“See, I wear a lot of sleeveless dresses so I have to keep the muscles going,” she jokes while performing her routine.

She then challenges Ryan Seacrest — who made his hosting debut on the game show on Sept. 9 after Pat Sajak’s retirement this past June — to take over, but he jokingly admits, “I can’t go any higher, everything’s gonna come out, everything’s gonna fall off” referencing to his fitted suit.

He gets serious and tries a couple of leg lifts and arm curls, telling his costar what workouts he likes for the core and shoulders.

“Vanna, 41 years on this show and you’ve never done this move?” he asks after doing a set of lifts and wrist rotations.

“You learn something new everyday,” she responds with a smile.

A diligent exercise routine isn’t the only prep work White does behind the scenes. She also spends quite a bit of time in the makeup chair, where she experiments with bold looks. And this is exactly what led her to create a Wheel of Fortune-inspired collection of cosmetics with Laura Geller last October.

Speaking with PEOPLE about the launch, White talked about her approach to glam on-air versus in real life

"I have worn heavy makeup [on air] for so many years. When I'm not working, it's kind of nice to not have to wear full makeup," she said. "I just feel more natural when I'm not working and wearing heavy makeup. I'm not complaining about it, by the way. I like to be glam. Heavy makeup is good, so is light makeup."

But despite loving a bit of a makeover, she said it hasn’t stopped her from embracing signs of aging on-camera over the years (White has been on the show since 1982).

"I don't look like this without all this makeup," she said. "But you know what? I am older and I accept my lines and wrinkles. Will I ever have plastic surgery? Maybe. But I'm kind of scared to do that. I'm not trying to look 30 years old again because I'm not."
