Married life seems to suit Karlie Kloss!

During an appearance at the 2019 Winter Television Critics Association panels in Pasadena on Tuesday, Kloss, 26 – who was promoting the new and upcoming reboot of Project Runway – opened up about her newlywed bliss with husband of three months Joshua Kushner.

“I love being married,” the model told reporters. “Honestly, I just feel really happy. It’s so nice to just have a home base. I can’t explain. Nothing has really changed, but in all the best ways, it feels different. I love it.”

She added, “I’m sure everyone is juggling ten things that you wouldn’t even realize. For me, like every women,[I’m] just figuring out how to continue to grow my career and balance my personal and professional life. I feel really grateful that I have a partner,

my husband, who’s an incredible support to me and wants to help me accomplish my dreams no matter what they are.”

After six years of dating, the couple announced their engagement in July 2018. Kushner popped the question with a high-carat cushion cut diamond in a platinum solitaire setting with a diamond pavé band, which Kloss showed off in social media pics.

The duo wed on Oct. 18, in a small, Jewish ceremony in upstate New York, with under 80 people in attendance.

“The wedding was intimate and moving. The couple was beaming with happiness,” a friend who attended the ceremony told PEOPLE.

The two plan on hosting a bigger celebration for friends and loved ones in the spring.

On top of embracing newlywed life, Kloss is adding another role to her agenda – host of the new reboot of Project Runway.

In early September, Heidi Klum, the model and longtime judge/host of the fashion design competition series, announced she was leaving the show alongside mentor/host Tim Gunn.

But two familiar faces will be filling their spots: Kloss and Project Runway alum and designer Christian Siriano.

“I don’t think they need advice. We left Project Runway in great hands, with Karlie [Kloss] and Christian Siriano, and I think they are going to do a great job,” Klum told PEOPLE in October.

“I can see how they are going to change it, because it needed some change,” Klum added. “After 16 seasons, it was becoming stale. I’m excited to see how it will progress,” she admitted. “It’s great to have new people and new visions for this next iteration of Project Runway. I’m looking forward to how they make the show their own!”

“Heidi is an incredible friend and someone I look up to,” Kloss told PEOPLE on Tuesday. “I’ve been really grateful that she’s supported me. This is her baby. This show is something that she care so much about and I’m really proud to be apart of it.”

Project Runway returns March 14 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
