In PEOPLE's exclusive first look at the Sunday, Nov. 17 episode of Sister Wives, the reality star, 52, opens up about the simple but meaningful way David, 60, asked her to be his wife. "We got to this gorgeous overlook and we're just sitting there staring," Christine began to tell the cameras, recalling how they took in the view during a hike. "And David's friend is like, 'Hey, do you want me to use your camera? And I'll take a picture of the two of you here?' I'm like, 'Yes, that'd be great.'" She continues, "So, I'm posing with David and then David goes, 'This is my favorite place in all of the world and you're my favorite person to be with.'" "Well, I'd like to marry you. Would you like to marry me?" David says as Christine drops everything, takes the ring and replies, "Oh God, yes!" "He's just so sweet and so romantic, and he's just real," Christine tells cameras back in her confessional. "I had no idea he was going to propose, and it's so silly. I should have put it together. But as soon as he started talking, I realized this was it. I was getting a real proposal." At the time, Kody, 55, was still married to Meri, Robyn and Janelle. He now only remains married to Robyn, 45. Christine and David got engaged in April 2023 in Utah and got married in October of that year at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah. “It's a fairytale,” she told PEOPLE of their wedding at the time. “It's everything I never thought I would have.
