Tammy Slaton is shutting down rumors that are spreading about her family.

On Nov. 4, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star posted a video on TikTok responding to claims that her sister Amy Slaton is expecting her third child. Amy, 37, already shares sons Gage Deon, 4, and Glenn Allen, 2 with her ex-husband Michael Halterman, who filed for divorce in March 2023.

“I wish people would stop spreading rumors but I’m here to tell you, Amy is not pregnant,” Tammy, 38, said.

She also clarified that her sister-in-law Brittany, who is married to her brother Chris, “did not pass away.” Brittany has often appeared on the TLC reality show alongside the Slaton sisters.

In the comments of the video, fans of Tammy praised her for shutting down rumors and were thankful that they weren’t true.

This isn’t the first time Tammy has had to address rumors or online criticism. Earlier this year, she posted a TikTok video clapping back at social media trolls who told her to “fix them teeth,” noting that she’s gotten numerous messages about her looks.

“With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this. It’s not helping my confidence,” she said back in January. “I was trying to keep my confidence boosted and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”

Tammy went on to explain that getting her teeth fixed can be expensive and although she has money, she doesn’t have the means to save up for it right now.

“I had to calm myself down before I replied because I really wanted to go off on you. I really wanted to tell you if you had a true problem with my teeth then pay for them yourself,” the reality star said. “But I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to be rude.”

“I’m trying to better my life and better myself. We should be lifting up people. It doesn’t matter if I’m missing teeth,” she continued. “It’s sad. Why hate? Why can’t you just appreciate the hard work I’ve put in. Why can’t you just appreciate that I’m still alive. Yes, I have flaws. I’m human... But I'm not gonna let you or anyone else ruin my day.”
