While launching Fenty Hair exclusively at Selfridges in London on Monday, Sept. 16, the beauty mogul, 36, stepped out in a custom, robe-inspired Jacquemus look. Styled by Jahleel Weaver, the Fenty founder looked both cozy and high-fashion in the fuzzy, off-the-shoulder dress in butter yellow, which was complete with a thigh-high split and, of course, a tie belt. For perhaps the most important part of her look at the luxury department store — her hair — she opted for some Old Hollywood glam with a sweeping side part and cascading, bouncy waves. And, according to the Fenty Hair Instagram, Rihanna’s hairstylist for the launch, Ursula Stephen, used products from the line to achieve the look, from her shampoo to her edge control gel. Along with the outfit swap, the star also changed into a pair of strappy, metallic heels, added a sparkly ear cuff and swapped her glossy brown lip for a bold red one. Rihanna on the Launch of Her 'Baby,' Fenty Hair: 'Let's Go Make Some Money and Grow Some Edges Bitch!' Speaking with Vogue at the Fenty Hair launch, Rihanna said that as long as her hair is “good,” she “can pull off any outfit.” “I could pull off even not wearing makeup. If my hair looks crazy, I feel like even if my makeup is bomb and my outfit is bomb, you’re not going to see past this,” she continued, motioning to her head. “This right here, it’s a crown.” Rihanna debuts a second look at the Fenty Hair launch at Selfridges. Though her looks are almost always larger-than-life, Rihanna’s U.K. Fenty Hair launch ensembles come in the wake of a big look, even for her. While stepping out in Santa Monica on Thursday, Sept. 12, the Fenty founder turned heads with an oversized (like, seriously oversized) accessory: the Saint Laurent Niki oversize bag in shearling. The fur bag, which retails for $7,200, made a statement as the singer kept the rest of her outfit quite understated by comparison in a white button-down, jeans and animal print boots. Close
