RHOC: Gina Confronts Shannon About Years of 'S---ty' DUI Digs 10 Days Before Shannon's Legal Trouble

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star Gina Kirschenheiter called out an unapologetic Shannon Storms Beador during the reunion for her castmate's comments about how Gina's DUI impacted her children

Gina Kirschenheiter is accusing Shannon Storms Beador of using her previous DUI as a “weapon” and implicating her children in the process.

In part one of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion on Wednesday, host Andy Cohen confronted Shannon about mentioning the real estate agent’s 2019 DUI earlier this season after promising to never speak of it during last year’s reunion.

Back in episode 12 of the Bravo show, Shannon had too much to drink at her taco fiesta party and claimed that Gina’s kids would have been taken by child protective services had she not given her a number to an attorney when she got arrested for driving under the influence.

When she was later confronted for her comments, the 59-year-old reality star said that she didn’t remember the claims she had made. At the reunion, Gina told Andy that she never received an apology for Shannon’s falsehoods.

“Gina, I do not remember saying it,” Shannon said, defending herself. “When I made that statement, I wasn't saying that your kids would be put in the system and taken away from you. It was had you been arrested and an adult wouldn't have been present. They wouldn't have left your children there until you got your legal things taken care of.”

She admitted, “That being said, I was told by Heather [Dubrow] that you were discussing my relationship. I was freaking pissed off at you.I don't like you. We don't get along, because you don't know anything about me.”

Gina interrupted Shannon and asked her to list her children’s names. When the television personality drew a blank, the mom of three demanded she “never talk about my children again.”

“I've known you for six years and you don't even know my kids’ names,” she continued. “And you’re gonna drop a bomb about CPS. It is completely inaccurate. It is so inappropriate.”

She added, “You are out of bounds right here, Shannon, you were so wrong. And for you to have anything right now other than ‘I'm sorry for my behavior’ — you are going low.”

Shannon confessed it was an “unkind thing” while Gina claimed that she was “worried” about other people discussing her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend John Janssen and that she was “making up things” about her children.

“This is who you are. You are the woman who gets proven that you did a s---ty thing and you don't just lay down and say you're sorry, it is not okay,” Gina continued, while Shannon admitted she was “horrified” watching the episode back.

Shannon defended herself once again, claiming that she believed they had resolved things the day after her explosive taco party. She told the group that she had always been “kind” to Gina and said she had a “laundry list” of good deeds — including sending her a lifeline when she was arrested for a DUI.

“You gave a phone number to me four-and-a-half years ago and then you have used it as a weapon ever since,” Gina said, explaining why the situation has caused her so much anguish. “My kids are this close to being on social media. You put clickbait out there. ‘Gina, mom, CPS children almost taken away.’ My children, for them to see that and get hurt by that and you don't even know their names.”

“This is a wound that has stayed with me and it will stay with me, you have crossed a line to the point where I don't even know if I can honestly even continue to do this,” she said.

Ironically enough, 10 days prior to filming the reunion, PEOPLE confirmed that Shannon was "arrested at 1:17 a.m. on Sept. 17 after fleeing the scene from a collision that caused property damage," according to the Newport Beach Police Department.

The NBPD also confirmed that Beador had been "booked for two misdemeanors — hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. She was released on a citation."

The Bravolebrity was found walking her dog by police after she allegedly left her car in the middle of the road, according to the initial report by TMZ

Following the news, Gina addressed Shannon’s legal trouble on her Orange Country podcast and told her co-host Shane McAnally she wasn’t going to “kick someone when they’re down.”

“You and I both can relate to what’s happening here, sympathize to what’s happening here. Yes, obviously, you can’t ignore ... the irony of it, which is major,” she told Shane. “But honestly, at the end of the day ... I just don’t have it in me. I’m not going to kick someone when they’re down, and I’ve been down.”

“I know where she’s at right now. It’s not a good place to be — mentally, emotionally,” she added.
