At her Halloween concert on Tuesday night at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, the pop star, 23, got in the spirit by dressing up as Justin Bieber. Beyond performing in costume, fans captured footage of the Snow Angel artist covering one of his biggest hits and replicating how he used to perform the song live with a special guest. Wearing a purple snapback, sneakers and sweatshirt, covered by a white denim jacket and white jeans, Rapp looked like a spitting image of My World 2.0 era Bieber. She crooned the song off the pop icon’s 2009 debut EP at the front of the stage, singing and rapping in a lower register. Reneé Rapp and Lola Tung. Fans captured Rapp singing directly to actress Lola Tung, who was watching from what appeared to be the photo pit and was eventually pulled on stage. The star of The Summer I Turned Pretty, 21, appeared to be overcome with joy and blushing at the interaction in footage that surfaced on social media — smiling and covering her face as soon as the hitmaker came over to her. After she was handed a bouquet of flowers and took a seat on stage, the two stars smiled at one another and danced along to the tune while the performer finished the serenade. During her Monday night performance at New York City’s Terminal 5, the singer/actress brought out singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine and the two celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Broadway hit musical Wicked with a duet of “For Good.” The Broadway talent will wrap up the North American leg of her Snow Hard Feelings Tour on Nov. 3 with one more show in NYC. The upcoming star of the Mean Girls movie-musical has been on the road in support of her debut album, which dropped Sept. 15, since the record’s release. Reneé Rapp Says Debut Album 'Snow Angel' Represents a 'Really Mature Version of Myself' (Exclusive) The “Too Well” artist opened up to PEOPLE about Snow Angel and her growth as a musician ahead of its release. "[Music] has always been the only way that I know how to cope, the only thing that I really know how to do, and it makes me a full version of myself," she said. "All the songs I write obviously are about things that I've been through personally, but I think that any relationship I've ever had in my life is all culminated into one on this project and in these songs," she added. "I love relationships. I love so hard. I am very protective of the people that I love. I'm very protective of myself, and all of these situations were taken from relationships that I had, whether they be good or bad." Close
